About Nicole L. Galinson

Having developed a strong passion for photography as a teenager, Nicole L. Galinson (NLG Photo) has been working professionally since her junior year of High School.

At the age of 17, Nicole met her mentor, Henry Diltz, at a star-studded benefit concert (Jammin’ For Jones | 2015) raising money for ailing musician Jeff Jones. The day prior, Diltz found himself unable to attend the final dress rehearsal, subsequently asking Nicole to fill in for him to photograph the likes of Stephen Bishop, Micky Dolenz, Howard Jones, Dionne Warwick, and many other esteemed musicians. Day of show the dynamic duo shot side-by-side, forming a long-lasting bond that would ultimately shape and align the course of Nicole’s nascent career. Diltz wrote Nicole a gleaming Letter of Recommendation when she decided to apply to Parsons School of Design’s BFA Photography program. The two are still very much connected and Diltz has proven to be an invaluable source of inspiration, counsel, and friendship as Nicole continues to navigate photographing the complex worlds of Music and Fashion.

Nicole has built-up an impressive client list since returning to Los Angeles from her studies in New York City; Most notably: The Calling, John Densmore + Robby Krieger (The Doors), Artistix SS17 | NYFW (Andy + Kim Hilfiger), Michelle Phillips (The Mamas and The Papas), Blackberry Smoke, T-Boz (TLC), Nancy Wilson (Heart, Roadcase Royale), Wilson Phillips, and The Zombies. She has worked on various projects for Sony/Syco, BMG, S-Curve, and Blue Elan Records. Nicole and her work have been featured in the following publications: Milli-On-Air Global Magazine (Digital), The Tolucan Times (Print/Digital), Variety (Digital), The Big Takeover (Digital), Voyage LA (Digital), and INLOVE Magazine.

Nicole worked with INLOVE Magazine for four covers as lead photographer and assistant creative director shortly before moving to New York city in 2021 to pursue more editorial work.

Nicole’s main focus is portraying individuals the way they want to be seen by creating striking visuals. Shooting with Nicole is a potent collaboration of psyche and energy.
